Unbreakable: AppBlocker & Focus (“the app”) is provided by Malik Hassan. This policy explains what the app collects, what it does not, and what choices you have.
The short version. The app runs on your device. Your list of blocked apps, your schedules, your daily limits and your usage figures never leave your phone. There is no server belonging to us, so there is nowhere for that data to go.
Android will not tell an app which other app is currently open unless you grant Usage Access in Settings. The app uses it for three things:
The Screen Time screen reads usage for every app on your phone, not only the ones you have chosen to block, because a report that covered only your blocked apps would not tell you where your time actually goes. It reads the last seven days, broken down by hour, and it groups apps using the category each app’s own developer declares about itself in Android.
This reads app names, categories and usage times only. It cannot read your messages, your screen contents, your photos, your keystrokes, or anything inside the apps you use.
None of these figures are stored by this app or transmitted anywhere. They are read from Android when a screen needs them and discarded when you leave it, so the app keeps no usage history of its own beyond what Android itself already holds.
The app shows you a list of apps you can block. It reads only apps that appear in your launcher, through Android’s standard package-visibility query. This list is never uploaded.
These let the block screen appear, keep the lock running, and start scheduled locks on time. They collect nothing.
Signing in is optional — the app works fully as a guest.
If you choose to sign in, authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. Depending on the method you choose, Firebase stores your email address, and for Google Sign-In your name and profile picture. We use this only to identify your account so a Pro subscription follows you to a new phone.
We never see, store or handle your password. Google does not share it with us.
Deleting your account. In the app, open Account → Delete account. This removes your account and the app data saved on that device. It is immediate and permanent. If you have already uninstalled the app, use the account deletion request page.
Pro subscriptions are sold and billed by Google Play. Payments are processed entirely by Google — the app never sees or stores your card number, billing address or any payment credential.
Subscription status (whether you are Pro) is managed by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous customer id, or your account id if you are signed in.
The free tier shows banner ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may use an advertising identifier to limit repeated ads and to measure performance.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows Google’s consent form before any personalised ad is requested, and you can change that choice at any time under Account → Privacy choices for ads.
Pro subscribers see no ads at all.
None. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no telemetry, and no server of ours that your device talks to.

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
